Different age groups up to 4-years-old – Suitable for all levels of French (Neither adults nor children need to speak French prior to attending this class.)

A fun and creative programme in which children and their carers are fully immersed in the language, with all instructions given in French without translation. In these classes, children learn through play within a nurturing environment. Their innate curiosity and natural desire for connection are ignited through interactive and age-appropriate activities, enabling them to effortlessly learn French.

45 minutes: Engaging session with interactive play, sensory activities, arts & crafts, singing, dancing & movement

Different age groups from 3 to 8 years old – Suitable for beginners and intermediate levels of French

Our French immersion lessons are specially devised for inquisitive and creative young minds to learn, explore the language and communicate confidently without fear of mistakes. Our native French teachers lead the lessons in French without translation in a fun, visual and interactive manner. The classes provide children with an excellent foundation in French, covering topics aligned with the UK’s official Primary school curriculum for Key Stages 1 & 2.

  • 3-5 years old lessons: End of year evaluation test sent to parents
  • 4-8 years old lessons:Termly evaluation test and report sent to parents.

FRANÇAIS LANGUE MATERNELLE  (Ecole FLAM)

Aligned with the official French Education national curriculum. Classes are conducted entirely in French without any translation.

 

1 hour 15 minutes: FLM français langue maternelle

– Petite section for 3 to-5-years – Only suitable for children who understand French

Designed to enrich the children’s vocabulary & enhance their speaking fluency through a variety of creative activities (singing, fun worksheets, dancing, and storytelling). They will also engage in critical thinking and problem-solving tasks, fostering active oral comprehension and participation.

2½ hours: FLM français langue maternelle

  • Cycle 1 des apprentissages premiers

– Moyenne section for 4 to 5-years-old – Only suitable for children who understand French
– Grande section for 5 to 6-years-old – Only suitable for children who understand French

This class promotes advanced oral expression through a diverse array of fun engaging and creative cross-curricular activities. The children will start making a connection between the oral and the written language and gain phonological awareness.

  • Cycle 2 des apprentissages fondamentaux

– Cours Préparatoire (1) for 6 to 7-years-old – Only suitable for children who understand French
– Cours Préparatoire (2) for 7 to 8-years-old – Only suitable for children who understand French

Lessons includes activities for learning reading & writing in French, alongside ongoing vocabulary expansion and comprehension enhancement. Children engage in reading tasks, complete worksheets, participate in spelling and grammar games.
