Why Is French More Fun with Culture? 🇫🇷

When children learn a new language, they’re not just learning words and grammar, they’re discovering a whole new way of seeing the world. It’s not only about learning how to speak, but also learning how to experience it.

🇫🇷 Understanding the French’s everyday habits, how they celebrate, eat, laugh, and connect, helps children make sense of the language and enjoy using it with confidence.

🎼 Through stories, songs, worksheets, hands-on activities… in our weekly lessons, Holiday Camps and events we help children connect with the language in a meaningful, natural and joyful way. Instead of memorising words, children live them, and that’s when learning really sticks! (And to practise outside the classroom our 36 original French songs are available in mp3 files! Click here to download them!)

🌟 Cultural learning also builds confidence. Children begin to understand social cues, customs, and differences, making them more comfortable communicating in French. It encourages curiosity, empathy, and openness, skills that go far beyond language learning and are invaluable as they grow.

🧑‍🍳 Did you know? Tomorrow, on the 2nd of February it’s La Chandeleur ! Oh lĂ  lĂ  ! It’s one of the most-loved tradition where families gather to make and eat crĂŞpes together. Don’t forget to make them flip while cooking… lots of fun guaranteed!
