Our Method
Backed by neuroscience research, our active learning and fully immersive programme puts children at the centre of their own development. French is used consistently for instruction and communication in every class, without any translation. Children make a direct connection between the language, their actions and their environment, learning French exactly as they learned their mother tongue.
Each lesson is carefully crafted with clear linguistic objectives, incorporating a diverse range of cross-curricular activities tailored to the cognitive and linguistic abilities of each age group. Children naturally absorb vocabulary and syntax, not by memorising words out of context, but by experiencing the language in meaningful, real situations.
For our older children, the journey goes further. As confidence and fluency grow, structured activities introduce reading and writing in French, through games, storytelling, spelling, grammar exploration and creative writing tasks ensuring children develop complete, lasting language skills that go well beyond the spoken word.
“Scientists have recently determined that it takes approximately 400 repetitions to create a new synapse in the brain- unless it is done with play, in which case, it takes between 10-20 repetitions.” Dr. Karyn Purvis.
Our Pioneering Approach
We believe that children learn best when they are happy, confident and free to explore without stress or pressure. We understand that babies and young children have an insatiable appetite to connect, learn and communicate. Uninhibited, they do not mind which language they use, as long as the exchange is meaningful and fun.
We prioritise creating a nurturing environment where playful and structured learning coexist. Children are encouraged to think and investigate thriving as active participants in their own learning rather than passive listeners. Our educational and creative activities are designed to ignite curiosity and foster a genuine love for the French language and culture.
Our native French-speaking teachers are at the heart of everything. Research confirms that human connection is a primary driver of language acquisition. Children learn faster, retain more and develop real fluency through meaningful interaction with people who genuinely care about their growth.
“Education is a natural process carried out by the child and is not acquired by listening to words but by experiences in the environment.” Dr Maria Montessori
